“Queen in Me” Mentoring Program
The Q.I.M. (Queen in Me) Mentoring Program is an empowering initiative designed to support and uplift young women through mentorship, personal development, and community engagement. Rooted in the belief that every woman holds the potential to be a queen, the program fosters growth, confidence, and leadership in its participants, providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
Queen in Them.
The Q.I.M. Mentoring Program consists primarily of young individuals between the ages of 15 and 18, based on data pulled from Cohort 1. A significant portion of the participants, approximately 70%, fall within this age range, highlighting the program's focus on empowering teens during their formative years. This demographic is crucial as it represents a time of growth and decision-making, where mentorship can have a lasting impact on their academic and personal development.
By pairing mentees with dedicated mentors, the program creates a nurturing space where young women can explore their passions, build confidence, and receive guidance in navigating academic and personal challenges.
Through Q.I.M., participants engage in a variety of enriching activities, including one-on-one mentorship sessions, workshops, networking opportunities, and community service projects. The program also connects mentees with positive role models who inspire them to set and achieve their goals while cultivating leadership skills and resilience.
At Ohemmaa Palace Foundation, we believe in the power of mentorship to create lasting change. The Q.I.M. Mentoring Program strives to guide young women toward realizing their full potential, empowering them to step confidently into their futures as leaders and advocates for change in their communities.
